Pathological Flowers

Wow, less than a week until the senior Grand Prix season gets rolling.  In light of Evan’s withdrawal from the GP, we’ve festooned the Skate America widget with marvelous Takahiko, who - barring a complete meltdown - should walk away with the title.  Best of luck to Evan’s alternate, Doug Razzano!  We’re sure he’ll skate lights out :-)

Re Evan: we’ll have more thoughts on him later.  There is little information to go on at present as both he and the USFSA are not commenting on the contract dispute.  Phil Hersh spoke to him (via text) this morning and got nothing but assurance that he’s in great shape and ready to compete, which, frankly, doesn’t help the news go down smoothly. 

Later this weekend, we’ll look into the Crystal Ball and give our predictions for the ladies event, which should be a nail-biter.  Is everyone getting excited?!?!!
