Kharis Ralph and Asher Hill opened second ice dance group with a really fun performance; nice lifts, great speed. They both look fantastic in their costumes, except she has some sort of headpiece that isn’t really necessary. Headpiece deduction. 52.68
Nelli Zhiganshina and Alexander Gazsi followed with Desperados. Very strong. Their coach is stoked. 55.66
Natalie Pechalat and Fabian Borzat look like they belong in a Fanta commercial. Don’t ya wanta wanta Fanta! They were killing it until he caught his toepick. 61.08
Meryl and Charlie closed the short dance on top as expected. 70.33 Great skate. Huge margin. I have to say her costume reminds me of Cher during the Sonny Bono era, though.
